anyone know where jimmy johns get their pickles from?

title says it all, i've been searching for years for the brand that they use. the jars at the stores just say jimmy johns pickles on them, but i know they have to be getting them from a distributor from some company.

No, but they are exactly the same as the ones you get at swap meets, cheese places or butchers. I wish I knew too.

They are awesome.

Please share if you get it figured out. I'll do the same.

Vlassic makes some that sort of tast like the giant JJ ones, but they are only close and always pre-sliced.

just sent an email to a store owner of a local jimmy johns, let's see if he'll corporate it out and just say they're "jimmy johns pickles" or see if he actually tells me what distributor they get them from.

yeah, that's what i've been buying, i don't like the pre-cut ones as much because the innards still get a bit soggy, the only reason they still have the crunch is because of the outside of them.

Mt Olive has a hamburger style pickle that works for putting a burger together at home that tastes like a classic fast food slider. That's about all they're good for.

I'm thinking they may be a Schwartz Brand deli pickle ...

They come in a 5 gallon bucket and are used in most restuarants least wise the ones I use to deliver to when I was a beer route salesman

Bubbie's (sold by Whole Foods), Strub's (sold by Wegman's) and Trader Joe's are also top ranked pickles, i just don't know if they're the JJ's ones or not
