Bunch of Windows popping up after posting?

Hey does anyone else have a whole bunch of windows pop open after you post a post? Like about 70 of them? If I don't get the first 3 in a second I have to reboot the computer. Please don't tell me I'm the only one doing this?

Damn, that sounds like it would suck. I haven't experienced that before. I am running Norton Internet Security, and it has an Ad Blocking feature. So, maybe that's why I don't experience it?

I thought I had a few pop up ads from here a few days ago. Nothing lately though. Of course it could have been another browser I had going, but I really didnt think so. Hopefully the new owners won't go that route.

This sucks! Actually I'm talking about a repeat of the windows post, not any pop up ads or anything. Time to upgrade my virus program I guess

You guys are missing the point. He's not getting regular pop-ups. He said he's getting multiple reply posts, not pop-up ads. Do I have that right, Tatechesley????

Sounds to me like you need Ad Aware. I bet all your Popup headaches will disappear when you take care of this with Ad Aware.

Give a pop-up blocker a try but this seems specific to the forum software. Maybe one of the moderators can help.
Can you attach a screen shot of the problem? The strange thing is that we only see one reply even though you're getting multiple reply screens.

Bad thing is, when it starts and if I'm quick enough to hit the close button, It closes everything and it's ok, but if I let it go and all the windows opens up, I have to kill the computer because it locks up then. I'll try and upgrade my virus scanner to see if that helps. Thanks for the help Falcon
