Dunlops - Dot 211 GP or Ntec Slicks

Hello, by the end of this month there is a good change we are loading our bikes on a trailer and take a trip to the north end of Greece where a Formula3-spec track is for a weekend.

Ive been running already 4 sets of Dunlop GP Racer 211 tires (street legal model for Europe) and its a great tire to ride with.

But for the comming trackday i wanna have a go on a race-spec tire (DOT) since im sure that no matter what tire i put for the weekend its gonna get destroyed.

I check the dunlop page and there are 2 types of race tires, the DOT 211GP and the Superbike Slicks.

Whats the difference between them two - except the part the GP uses grooves.

Im leaning towards a slick tire though

Slicks if you wanna go fast on a dry track 211's if you wanna have a chance if the track is wet,, simply put

I run the slicks and love them, just don't go out in the rain
