Solve the R1 underseat heat problem for 10 bucks !

I purchased a roll of "wrap on insul-foil duct insulation" from ace hardware it has an adhesive backing.
Steps :
1. Cut a large piece and press it onto the seat molding it with your hands, punch a small hole where the latch is .

2. put your seat back and go ride :-)

After this there was still some heat :-( so I wrapped from the Y pipe to the can with Helix fiber glass / Ceramic exhaust wrap, and that Killed the heat .

I got some of the duct (not duck) the aluminum shiny stuff used for duct work and taped that on the bottom of the seat. Seems to work pretty well. I also did the Leo Y Pipe first and that didn't seem to take care of the heat as much as I expected so I added the tape later that day and that took care of it....more or less. I'm still getting some heat from the tank. This heat seems to be an issue that can't be fully resolved unless (like other people say) to go to a side exit exhaust or some more drastic types of thermal shielding.

And I'm a little worried about having this heat reflected back onto the electronics below the seat. Has this been an issue for anyone?

I'm not in the same town as my bike right now to look, but is there a place where this heat could vent or maybe add some more ventilation for the electronics?

While that may work, I'll deal with the heat rather then cover
my exhaust up like that. It just looks to damn good. .

heat from under the tank and the seat doesnt bother me. its the heat coming on the y pipe....Leo ypipe...that once the bike hits the 200 degree mark my right ankle catches on fire...through my jeans and boots and socks.
