Redskins fans!
So how do you think we are doing so far in the free agency?
1. McNabb to the Vikings for 6th round draft pick in 2012 and possible 6th round draft pick in 2013. We treated him like crap. Still think he would have been our best option for the short term.
2. Haynesworth to the Patriots for their 2012 5th round pick. Sure glad that POS is gone.
3. Signed Donte Stallworth to a 1 yr deal. He's proven he can play, and he had a year off after his big incident. Hopefully he will shine here.
4. Signed Giants Barry Cofield (DT) (54 tackles 4 sacks) signed - 6 years, worth $36m (guaranteed $12.5m). I'm not too familiar with him.
5. Signed former Jets QB Kellen Clemons to a 1 yr deal. He has some skill, would be a good 3rd string QB.
6. Local NOVA boy, and rookie from Penn State Evan Royster just signed a $2.5 million deal. Good to see someone from the area making it big then coming back.
6. Traded Jabar Gaffney for DL Jeremy Jarmon. Good trade IMO. The 3-4 didnt work for him. He played DE and NT, and neither worked.
7. Re-signed Santana Moss for 3 yrs $15 mill, $6mil guaranteed. Glad we got him back. A true talented veteran and leader. A great number 2 reciever out of the slot, but thats about it. Still need a number 1. Hopefully Malcom Kelly or Leonard Hankerson (Univ. of Miami) will step up. They are both 6'2 +, and it would be nice to have some height.
8. Josh Wilson from the Ravens, (CB) signed - 3 years, worth $13.5m (guaranteed $6m). 40 tackles and 3 picks last year. Young guy with energy, came in the leage in 07. Should be a good replacement for Carlos Rogers (54 tackles 2 INTs, Infinite amount of dropped INTs)
Realistically im not sure if we can make 8-8 this year, but we'll see. Every year they get us excited and it turns out not too good. I'm staying optimistic but honest this year. We seem to be gathering draft picks for next years draft already, ala Bill Belichek and the Patriots. We still need to address the OL. Thats what f@cked Donovan last year. I'm putting my money on Beck as the starter, however, if he has a bad pre-season, Sexy Rexy aka the Sex rocket, will be the starter without a doubt.
Just curious on your opinions.
Haters, I'm sure you will chime in too so your comments are welcome as well.

Skins fan here.. Glad that Haynesworthless is gone, McNabb gone gives me another useless jersey, and I'm not holding my breath for this season. But I can't wait until it starts! I should be at the Aug 12th preseason skins/steelers game.

Young needs to be humilated a few times and brought down to earth and maybe his talent will overtake his ego.

Funny, the Packers were one of the few teams we beat last season. I was there last year, they took Aaron Rodgers out! Good game though, went to OT if I remember correctly.
The pack are a good team, very humble professional crew. No issues with them. The fans are pretty cool too.

That's what I love about football. Anything can happen. I think it was 2 or 3 years ago, we were 11-0. Played Tampa Bay who were 0-11 and they beat us.
