For sale is a 2006 Honda CRF 230F offroad motorcycle in outstanding like new (better actually) condition. I bought this motorcycle new in August 2007 for $4000 out the door for my son. It has been ridden 5 times with a total of 14 hours on the motor, garage stored. It kills me to have to sell it, but he's off to college and needs the tuition money. It has been flawlessly maintained and the running condition is far superior to any other CRF230 including bikes coming new off the showroom floor, I guarantee it. Improvements to the bike include:
Pro-taper handlebars and new grips
New battery
Foldable gear shift lever
CA green sticker good until June 2012 (just renewed !)
Spot on jetting. I've spent more time tuning it than my son has riding it. Jetting is absolutely spot on at all throttle positions. Starts easily no choke, warms up instantly and pulls strong to full throttle.
Plastics in new condition
Front sprocket changed from 13 teeth to 14 (original sprocket included)
Overall cosmetic appearance is 99% new, with small boot wear around each footpeg, and some small marks on the swingarm.
