how to get engine codes on a 2012R1?
hey fellas, I tried to search but haven't found anything for the 2012, how do I go about checking the engine code?? Just installed a ton of electronics...god help me LOL
thanx guys.
not sure if this will have anything to do with it but my PCV was supposed to be sent flashed already for block off's, full system and race filter...the PCV menu says stock filter full system...?

god cant help you but the guys here can 
i think you cycle the key while holding the select and reset buttons

LOL thank you! I havent been able to ride her so I saw "69" and figured that those were just the miles I had on her before tear down....

actual miles are 60..hehehehe
tried to cycle a few times while holding the reset and select and once I let go the "69" code comes right back:-/

DOH!!! LOL no worries man, UGH this sucks...been waiting a month to get the ECU back from flash tune and now this:-(

aint that the truth;-)
found this and it actually worked!!! goin for a quick blast right now
1-Turn the main switch to "OFF" and set the engine stop switch to "OFF"
2-Simultaneously press and hold the "SELECT" and "RESET" buttons,turn the ignition to "ON" position while continuing to press the buttons for 8 secondsor more, "DIAG" will displayon the LCD screen
3-Simultaneously press the "SELECT" and "RESET" buttons for 2 seconds or moreto activate the diagnostic mode. The diagnostic code number "d01" appears on the LCD display.
4-Press the select or reset button to go up or down the Diag codes until you find the "CODE 24"
5-Once you find the code 24 press the engine stop switch to "ON" then "OFF" popsition and the code will clear and check engine light will be off.
I just went to 69 and it worked

SORRY Mike, but you're mistaken!! it is in the service manual as I believed!!
page 8-38 in the 09 R1 service manual, may be different page on the '12... but its all there..
list of codes and everything.!!.. search pdf is your friend.!
