Just curious, who in here smokes cigars? I just recently started...

What an expensive hobby. My two humidors are empty now as I don't have the time or money and it really is to warm here to sit outside an hour to smoke one

I have a small humidor but haven't tended to the cigars (lost interest) so they all dried up. I did like to smoke one every now and then but they started making me sick and light headed so I stopped.

I bought 2 cuban cohibas when i was younger, one i smoked the other i gutted and filled with the sticky.

The cubans are not much better then other high end cigars you can get. If they were not prohibited I don't think people would even talk about them.
Today I just got in some padron's and drew estates.

I found them to be harsh! I like a more sweet and mild smoke.

If you like mild try the rocky patel Connecticut series. Very mild.
Ave Maria is a good stick that is a tad stronger. I would put it on the light medium side of things. I don't like the stronger maduro's either.

Oh man, relaxing with a cigar is tops. A couple fav's are a Don Peppin "JJ" and an Oliva G in a Maduro wrapper. I might go for V if I want somthing with a littlw more bite. Paired up with a whiskey on the rocks or tawny port and I am in a good place.
