some goons stolen my bike last night from my appartment..i went outside this morning and it was gone i was like someone took a part of me away...my fellow R1'ers if you see or hear anything bout my LE please hit me up it a 2006 R1 LE #381

sorry to hear man. but hate to tell you...its probably not gonna be found...in 1 piece anyways. dont get another one until you get a garage or a storage unit...because they will come back in a month or two expecting a new one to be sitting outside for them now

Thats sucks, sorry to hear it. Like others have said, apartments are too easy for thieves to get to your bike, store it off-site, or get a duplex with a garage. I like the dog BTW.

Man someone jinxed you. It maybe the someone from the dealership where they had your bike in the showroom or someone who is a customer at that place. Just my point of view on it. By the way was it taken from the base?

Damn, wtf is going w/ all these thefts? That's some bullshit regardless. People not respecting other people private property is just some straight garbage. Wish a mothaf*** would, I'm dumping straight slugs on perps they try that shit here.

Sorry man. Hope you get reimbursed for the loss but it's never the same being violated like that.

thanks for the support during these rough times but yes i had full insurance on it but damnnnnn i want my bike back they could have taken damn dog and left me the bike..they hot wired my bike there was broken wires on the ground but my apartment had camers and i got the tapes to turn over to the cops someone in a damn white F150 stole my bike they hotwired it and i guess their passager rode it out cuz it shows them riding out.....i sooooo wish i could see there truck plate

Sorry to hear. Hoping you get it back, especially since it was an LE. But, glad you had insurance, and as previously mentioned, I wouldn't get another bike until you have a garage or storage unit.

Any time you leave several thousands of dollars laying out in the open, it's going to get stolen. Sorry you had to learn the hard way. Good luck with your next purchase.

Im sorry, but after seeing probably the better half of 100 stolen bike threads, I am immune to people leaving their bikes outside an apartment and wondering why it's disappeared. It sucks, but no more sympathy from me.

We need to get a group of underwriters together, go to the insurance companies, and get a clause that doesn't allow motorcycles at apartments that are stolen to be covered. It's ludicrous the amount of bikes stolen and people continue to leave them outside.

I have two buddies right now, within 30mintes of me, that have bikes sitting in apartment complex parking lots. Ones a 08 R1, the other a 2011 zx10. Best believe I yell at them daily to put them inside
