September 2012 BOTM - CMRAsloguy

Congrats on September 2012 BOTM

Story & Specs-

Wanted a crossplane after having one bury itself next to me on track. Bought one and decided to make an "Anniversary" but based on the crossplane. THUSSSSS:

-GYTR Anniversary full body

-Ohlins all around, TTx36 mkII in the back, the first set of FGRT206's in the US in the front

-Marchesini 10-spokes (in gold of course)

-Full Akra in Ti

-Full Bazzaz TC system

-Brembo master/lines/pads, underslung in the rear. Galfer rear disc and EBC up front

-Woodcraft case covers, clipons, and sliders, I went with Vortex rearsets as I like their design a little better and parts are easier to find/transfer

-Ti hardware all around with D-ring Dzuz for the fairings

-Carbon bodywork anywhere it didn't detract from the Replica signicantly

-Pile of Superlite sprockets and EK chains

-Bunch of odds'n'ends like K&N, Lithium battery, cool little gas cap, medium grips, custom carbon panel for the TC switches, integrated lights, mirror blocks, MORE STUFF

The forks will get rebuilt soon to get the full 130mm out of them and to find a setup for the bike. If anyone has a crossplane and hasn't modded their's yet, just so you know, for the money the best mods are a real master cylinder and ECU flash. I spent more than I needed to and got a flashy, bling master but a base Brembo or any other reputable brand will be a big improvement. The ECU flash on the crossplane R1's makes the bike come to life. Manual CCT's are mandatory on old style bikes. __________________

Very well done. The retro yellow body work looks great no matter the year and might be my favorite, but don't tell anyone I said so!

I'm not a fan of yellow bikes at all, but I've always wanted an Anniversary so I made one. Going to carbon, if anyone wants this kit shoot me an email at scdc0713 (at) gmail (d0+) com, will include Woodcraft sliders

Nicely done. This scheme looks great! I really dig the gold wheels. There is one little thing that looks out of place, its that rear seat cover thingie you have on there. The OEM seat cowl would look 10x better.
