2008 Yamaha R1 has almost 14300 miles on it. I purchased the bike about 2 years ago from Blais Cycle. I wanted the bike to stand out a little but at the same time not to lose too much on the performance side either. I bought a second set of OEM R1 wheels and sent them to a shop in Cali to have them 24k Gold Plated which cost me about $3000 after gold plated and special clear coating to protect the gold. Also added a few more gold coloured accessories to kinda go along with the black and gold theme I was going after. The bike is in very good condition very clean catches a lot of attention and is still really fast and has clean title never been down fix or repaired in anyway. A lot of the parts were all installed on the bike at the same time and have about 200 miles of use on them.
You can’t tell in the pics but most sections of the bike has also been covered in clear plastic to protect the paint from scratches which cost me about $400 to get done. Bike starts and runs perfect with no issues at all everything works has always been kept inside. I change the oil and oil filter every 1000 miles as I do with all my bikes using Mobile1 Racing 10w-40 4T oil and K&N Oil Filter. Last oil change was about 50 miles ago at which time I also installed a Brand New Battery. The bike was very recently featured in X102.3 Customs Car & Bike Show in West Palm Beach FL if you where there then you may have seem the bike in person.
I am only selling the bike because I am trying to purchase a house and the extra money would help out right about now. I have 2 other bikes and unfortunately 1 has to go if I could get the house without having to sell the bike I defiantly wouldn’t be selling this bike.
