finally got the car w specs i been looking for/ restore in progress :)

just purchased her friday, im still currently awaiting its arrival . I own a collision shop so i buy and sell salvage vehicles for a living, I will be doing all the repairs myself, already god most of the parts needed such as the complete knee assembly, didnt get rim ( might get aftermarket ), radiator, condenser, headlight, front bumper, etc.. debating on whether to stick with the stock or get the rs5 grill.
MANY MODS TO COME!

You sure the frame is straight bro? Hope so! Interesting the airbags did not deploy. Maybe someone hit it while it was parked?

It's a side hit, why would the air bags deploy? They're almost always for frontal/near frontal impacts.

Very true, but I think they still have a tendency to have structural damage

I believe, I do not know for sure, but these high end cars have like a million different airbags that are completely around you for all kind of impacts from different angles. At least that is what I thought.

thanks guys! will definitely keep this thread alive w the build, i got many cars infront of it as of now hopefully will get to it within a wk or two.

No frame seems to be ok, almost 90% of cars regardless always have to go on the fame machine for some tweaking, but this one main impact seemed to be on the wheel itself.

That's true, but I'm only considering the airbag from the steering wheel; it's really the only one you can see that is definitely not deployed. In fact, it looks like there may be a deflated air bag hanging in the driver's window? Maybe OP can confirm.

as for airbags, hmm... interesting never really thought of that. Vehicle may have been possibly parked as mentioned.

edit: yes, only airbag deployed was the driver roof. im hoping driver seat didnt, as i can not tell from the pics provided in the auction.
