R1 Exhaust : Yamaha R1 Forum

I've got an 03 R1 and it currently has a Micron exhaust. I was thinking of putting a shorty exhaust on it. I want it louder, but nothing obnoxious to where it sounds like a tore up Harley......Any suggestions?

Maybe try cutting a 1-2 inches out of the micron?

How much do you want to spend? If you want a loud pipe go for the racefit growler. Very nice exhaust and I promise you will be heard.

Get a tore up Harley. Need the crossplane to get that tore up Harley sound
