Bimoto BB2

This is Bimota's new BB2, a prototype new model powered by BMW's S1000RR engine. Designed by sak_art_design, this is Bimota's second BMW-engined motorcycle, the first being the BB1, a supermono powered by the single-cylinder F650 lump.

The BB2 uses an all-new chassis and swingarm, features Ohlins suspension, Brembo monobloc brakes and an Arrow-slip-on echaust. Bimota haven't changed much engine wise, so the power output will be similar to a stock S1000RR. Plenty.

The BB2's looks are typically Bimota: out there, individual and controversial. The twin-hidden headlights are a huge departure from the S1000RR which looks every bit a Japanese superbike. Perhaps the BB2's look is closer to what BMW's designers originally considered for the first S1000RR?

Bimota are remaining tight-lipped over whether this will ever be produced, but you wouldn't go to all that effort only to shelve the project. So no word on price yet or availability but let's just say: lots and probably.

Too bad to ruin that bike with those lights

I swear sometimes these designers make bike lights ugly just to get noticed

Bimota usually makes good-looking bikes, so yes, this is odd...

I'd rather have a "properly" running VDue, anyone have any pics of one ? I have a few original brochures for one somewhere.

The lights are actually off the v-due, they happened to have some laying around and as they managed to put it together in around 2 weeks its not to bad of an effort.

The headlights definitely 'tarnished' a good looking bike. They have such an old look to them. Gone are the years of bug eye headlights!

Also could they have not at least made new case covers that removed the BMW name plate??

Headlights are def funky but no worse than the new CBR600RR. Overall though a S1000RR engine in an improved chassis!! Im sure it will be a weapon if they build it.
As a former RZ350 owner I used to dream about V-Due good to see some have them sorted and running properly. Read they used to sell them with a bag full of spare plugs.

It may look as ugly as Lobster and Gear's bromance, but you can bet that thing will get it.
