Please help, coil/spark plug issues!!!

Ok I have a 2008 R1 and I ordered ngk spark plugs model CR9EIX and I put them in and everything was good...until I tried to get the stock caps back on. They won't fit onto the new spark plugs. I don't know if I need upgraded coils or if I need to remove the tip of the spark plug because the stock plugs have a male end that fits into female end of plug cap and the new plugs have a female end that won't fit into caps. I'm completely stumped here, any help would be really great.

I've searched everywhere for a solution!

The pic you posted is what the stock plugs look like but the new ones I ordered have a female end instead of a male. It's the right spark plug too I checked ngk and other forums and this one
