Hose clamps after the fact.... Are there any clean options?
Hey all,
I did my ss brake line upgrade and while I had the brake system all apart I also installed the clear Tygon tubing on my front and rear master cylinder(s). Well.... as I was right in the middle of the brake line install and installing the clear line I went to put the OEM squeeze clamps back on and they were too large to fit the new Tygon hose. The OEM rubber lines have a larger O.D. than the O.D. Of the Tygon hose which led me to finishing up without the use of clamps on these 2 hoses.
My question is: are there any alternatives for installing clamps without having to remove these hose(s) again and having to go thru the PITA of bleeding the system out again? I know I could install worm gear clamps as they can be opened up to install on a line that is already connected but I was hoping for something a bit more of a "cleaner" finished look than a standard worm gear clamp. Please inform.
Thanks,
-John
