Gilles Chain Adjusters

Just pick up a set of Gilles chain adjusters with the lifters for $160. Not too shabby I don't think...

What does everyone think of their Gilles adjusters? I have read quite a few positive reviews but there are some bad ones out there.

I've been kind of afraid to try them because of some threads I've seen indicating they were a bit flimsy. They certainly look trick.

Yeah they look pretty awesome... But I was skeptical also. I'm worried I'll be the one writing the bad review thread next because mine broke, But there are always the "bad seeds"... haha!

Well I just bought them today on ebay so I don't have them yet.. I'll get pics up as soon as I get them.

These are the ones I bought, only mine were used.

The problems people were having with them were due to improper installation and adjustment. At least that's what I remember

How's the quality on those? They are kind of expensive so I would assume it's pretty good. I'm anxious to compare and see the quality of mine.. To me that will determine how good of a deal I REALLY got..

Loosen axle nut, turn a bolt equally on both sides, tighten axle bolt. Rinse, repeat. Easy enough.

I hope you got the TCA model. They got rid of the other model as they had issues as stated above. You ahd to use the oem bolts in addition to the Gilles chain adjusters to ensure you wouldn't have an issue.
