A Dilemma...
Ok guys, gotta vent a little. I was gonna see what options I'm looking at here. My dilemma is, the people I bought my bike off of uses the same credit union as I do, the bank had their title to the bike, ok after my paper work was complete I'm thinking that I'm good to go, get it tagged and insured. Well I get it insured and the financial rep tells me that they have to send out the actual title paper work off to their underwriters lab so I can get it tagged. They received their side but the previous owners has to sign the bike off, well I can't get ahold of the previous owners nor can the bank which means I can't ride much if at all. The bike has a tag that is good through July of 13' but it is in his name.
So am I up the creek without a paddle or what are some legal ways to go about getting the title in my name if the previous owners fall through?

Has any money changed hands? Can you cancel the transaction if it has?

Yeah my bank wrote them a check and gave it to them in front of me, it was a shady b.s. deal now that I think about it.

File for lost title and get a affidavit of what went on from the bank . Most state title agencies will work withyou.

This being my last line of defense. I'm going to give it a week and this is what I will do. I can file all that stuff at the registration place?

that's great if he doesn't release the title, anything that happens with that bike will fall on his shoulders.
