Don't run from the police and you won't get shot, they are trying to fry DPS right now for shooting from a helicopter and killing some illegals earlier in the year. This is just more ammo for the hippies to neuter the police more 
Look here, same city, another pursuit and what do you know, cop killed and innocent bystander killed by the fleeing driver.

Either you're for the police state or you're for liberty. Pick a fvcking side. Running is NOT enough reason for police to shoot you. That's bullshit.
So when guns are banned are you going to hand over your guns because it's the law? When they kick in your door to confiscate your guns like they did in NOLA after Katrina are you going to be a good little sheep and lay face down on the floor and tell them where your weapons are because they have uniforms and badges? Or is taking your guns the one line they have to cross? Everything else they do is ok?

So when someone innocent gets run over like the disabled person last year that got mowed down by someone running from the police what do you tell his family? Wish we could have stopped him but nope just let him keep endangering people's lives instead. This has nothing to do with liberty, and is no way comparable to police going door to door to collect weapons.....when guns get banned ill cross the bridge of what I'll do about it then.

I thought some states or counties had general rules in place at the precincts to not chase a motorcyclist under certain conditions (high speed, high traffic) since it would present a danger to the guy on the bike. Granted, this just means all youd have to do is go a certain speed and it's a get out of jail free card, but if cops had the ability to see plates better they'd be able to just mail a ticket and wouldnt that be the end of it?

this part cop is a punk for shooting an unarmed motorcyclist, bottom line....
for speeding, give me a break, he hopefully will be brought up on charges....
if the guy robbed a bank, yes, then he is probably armed....
and police should not be allowed to chase someone for a traffic violation alone, that puts the safety of the public in danger.....
unless the guy just committed a violent felony, let him go....
