Another Question for Martinc

Does anyone run Keihin Fcr Flatsides on their 98 r1? Is it normal for the throttle to be extremely hard to open? Does anyone know of a place where I can get a softer throttle spring, or is ther a way to modify them to work smother and softer like the stock carbs?

They are indeed harder to open than Cv carbs, but its a precision thing;you can possibly get a softer spring since they have quit an extensive parts bin for those.

Call a specialist.
(check my site in carburetors)
