Extreme rich smell on warmup

Guys, I know the bike is supposed to run rich when you first start it up with the choke, but damn... it smell way more rich than my other bikes ever did.

But she's 100% stock, so no jetting has ever been done.

I'm not sure what type of answer I'm looking for, but it was bugging me so I thought I'd express my thoughts.

She's a '99 with 20k miles on her.

i prefer mine to be alittle rich on start up, it keeps me from having to choke her in the mornings. if your bone stock, i wouldnt worry about it at all

Typical carbureted stock bike;they are rich down low and lean up high.

Besides costing you more $$$ in fuel while commuting, its not that bad.

(well,if its overly rich and you do commute alot, make sure to go on the highway and "clean the head"...hehe

I commute 35 miles each way to work. She got 45 mpg on the last tank.

I'm kinda worrying that she was a racebike before I bought her, and maybe the jetting is richer because of that. Mebbe they just threw all the stock stuff back on.

My last three bikes were carbureted... and none smelled as rich as this one. She usually has white smoke coming out the tailpipe for the first 30 seconds, but that's probably good also.

Yah, it's probably all good. All just in my head.
