What is the 520 conversion?

I never really did much aftermarket mods to my bikes... but I keep seeing this 520 conversion thing on posts. Is this a heavier / lighter chain setup?

Thanks.

As R1fanatic stated the 520 conversion in this case is a combination of smaller/lighter components.

Regarding the final drive gear combo its entirely up to you and what your wanting to use the bike for, ie trackdays, racing, stuntin, street, etc. The 520 conversion can use the exact same final drive sprocket combos as OEM except for the actual size being 520 instead of 525 or 530.
