KBC Racer 1 review

Great helmet, great airflow , great price!

The only downside to this helmet is the front padding inside the helmet feels like a hairbrush being held against your forehead. Other than that I give this helmet a secure 9.5 out of 10. Easily on par with a 500.00 helmet for less than half the price. I paid 193.00 and I'd do it again.

I've had two VR1's. The racer 1 fits about the same only it's a bit more snug from the onset and there's that hairbrush feeling you get from the pad on your forehead. Outside of the front pad this helmet kicks the VR1 in the ass twice . Also the airflow felt like my VR1 with a cracked open faceshield . ( It was that much better!!)

Nice pics, glad your happy w/ your helmet.

But for me... I couldn't deal w/ the horse brush padding.
