Kids. For every hard-working junior scholar in the world, there's probably four or five little hooligans who prefer to walk on the wild side. You know, the kids who race their Big Wheels down steep hills, poke bee hives, throw rocks at dogs or joy-ride their mom's car at 15.
The OEMs are grateful for these kinds of kids, as they are the prime demographic for the quartet of outrageously fast and capable machines assembled here.
Does anyone need a bike with an insane power-to-weight ratio that exceeds million-dollar cars? No! But is there a large group of adult-aged kids with a ravenous appetite for adrenaline? Hell, yeah!

Cypress CA. - April 29 ? The Jamie James Yamaha Champions Riding school recently completed it?s first class of the 2008 season at Barber Motorsports Park near Birmingham, Alabama.
Led by AMA Champion Jamie James as well as World Superbike and AMA Superbike Champion Scott Russell, the special guest instructor for the inaugural school was 5 time Yamaha AMA 250cc National Champion Rich Oliver. Over the course of two days the students split time in the classroom and on the track and observed riding techniques demonstrated by Scott Russell and Rich Oliver.
Rich Oliver, who took a break from his own Rich Oliver Mystery School to instruct, said ?This was a great opportunity to work with Jamie and Scott again and share our combined National Championship winning experience with the students??and based on the feedback we were well received!?

March 3, 2008 - With 18 Daytona 200 wins to its credit--including an unprecedented, unbeaten string of 13 Daytona 200 victories in a row--the words "Daytona Special" do not just apply to the white-and-red 1979 RD400F that many of you remember fondly, and some of you were lucky enough to own, or still own.
Daytona IS Special to Yamaha. It's the track where Kenny Roberts won the 200 three times--including twice in a row--on his legendary bumblebee-liveried two-strokes.
