I have a 2003 r1 that has a oil leak coming from item # 32 on the diagram. My question is what goes inside item #32 oil or coolant?because i taught it was coolant.
Thanks in advance!!!

Are you 100% sure that the oil is coming from there and not trickling down from somewhere else? There should not be oil coming out of there, that's the water jacket joint.

Thanks for the reply Anubis! that is exactly what i am trying to find out because the oil leak look like is coming from that general area.My next guess will be that metalic box (air induction syst) with oil dripping but i think is air going thru that.If anyone one can confirm will be great.I am running out of ideas!!!

I will try that next, now that everything is apart.Hopefully is something easy but i doubt it because the spot where is at is really tight. Thanks for the baby powder idea!
