If you could go out and purchase a new bike today, what would you get?

If you were to go out a buy a new bike today what would you get? Something that is affordable or well within your financial means.

i would get a 04 r1 thats needs a paint job and get her all redone i rather buy a used one that i can customize the way i want rather then a stock new one but thats my .02

Hrm...say I had about 10 grand right? It would be a hard decision between a 05 R1, 05 ZX-10R, or a 05 CBR1000RR.

Probably a silver '05 R1 to park next to my Fizzy.
