Got Before & After? Go!

Well, I rescued this baby a while back from a dude on CL. It was a nightmare ranging from electrical to engine, but I got it for next to nothing. Lots of wrench time, sweat, blood and tears went into her. Now that she is street legit it is time to start making the track conversion. Going to try to do it right the first time.

Who else's got any B&A pix?

I really miss the F4i though, I sort of hope I can buy it back someday when I have enough money for 2 bikes :/ Probably won't but I do miss her.

Wow, you turned an F4I into an R1... that's impressive

(I don't think you quite grasp the OP's intent... or I don't, one or the other)

See, blue is my favorite color. The thing is, that the yellow plastic was a cheap kit, you know...even the tank itself had a cheap yellow plastic shell to it. But I really didn't noticed that, I initially was settling on the yellow color, so when I noticed it and took it off to find a blue tank you can imagine my reaction.

Very nice! I love that red and white, now if it only was in blue I'd love it even more , and them pipes...how does it sound? I see that they are not the same as the first "after", are they throaty? Brand?

They actually are the same pipes, I just painted them with header paint

I think it sounds pretty decent:

Mine was basically flawless mechanically... Not so much for the fairings. For $3300 I wasn't complaining. I replaced the tank, upper, both mids, and the tail all from this forum for under $500. Repainted the lowers, decal kit, sliders, front springs, rear spring, baffle kit, mirror and smog block offs, bar mirror, rear cowl, and that's about it. I figure I have about $4500 into her at the most. Makes me smile every time!
