Mix different brand jacket and pants

Is it possible to mix fx. Joe rocket pants and another brand jacket when the both have 360 zippers for attachment to do a trackday. Are the zippers usually different size or is ykk zipper one size.

Usually when you buy a jacket or pants with a zipper it comes with the mating part so you can have it sewn into the opposing garment. Even when the opposing garment has the same size zipper, it seems rare when they start from the same end.

Do you have to leave so soon? I was just about to poison the tea.

Worst case scenario you can always buy a section of the 2 zipper styles you need at a fabric store and sew them together (or have them do it).

(crappy ASCII visual explanation below)

Say your jacket has a fine tooth zipper and your pants are a large tooth...

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
fabric backing for zipper teeth to match jacket
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (stitch the 2 fabric sections together)
fabric backing for zipper teeth to match pants

you then zip the strip in place on either set and leave it there.
