That's a bad ass looking pipe. I'd go with ear bleed and wear ear plugs.

Even with a slipon you have to change the air fuel mixture. Best to go with a good dyno tune to get the most out of your setup.

I ordered the AR GP2R with Ti can for mine. Gotta wait for it to be made.
Loved the looks on a friends bike but it was pretty damned loud lol.

Got my AR GP2R a couple of weeks ago and had the bike dyno tuned.
Loving the sound and looks.

I just picked up a brand new leftover 2017 R1 blue. I will be going with an MJS titanium mid pipe with the stock brackets and keep my muffler. About 150$ cheaper than the m4 and can retain that OEM look.

Most agreed that Graves was a damn good match with the Yamaha sportbike line. However, before I settled on the EVR there were plenty of other brand name exhausts I was considering (note, these are all 3/4 cat eliminator systems):

Hindle
Arrow
Akrapovic
Yoshimura (though I didn't care for the canister styling, didn't match the bike in my eyes)
Spark

The following I dismissed as either unattractive, or just too damn loud (these are the shorty 'beer can' exhausts):

Austin Racing
SC Project
Graves Moto 1 (yes you read that right!)
Racefit
Competition Werkes

Don't even say TOCE within earshot of my bike or you gonna' be catchin' hands son.

The Sakura Kogyo exhaust looks amazing but I think that the OP was interested in products that the average consumer can, like, actually buy.

So...yeah, there ya' go.

PS: I do agree that hearing the Graves name bandied about on this site can occasionally be trying, but you have to admit that they make some quality kit, and don't forget that members get a 20% discount direct from the company. And IIRC there are even greater savings during a certain month. Can't beat that with a stick.
How do we get that discount?

I am also curious about a possible 20% discount. Scoping an exhaust for my 18.

I know itís very common but I love my Graves. I think it has a lot to do with how well it goes with the color scheme on my bike though.

This is the exhaust I would have on my 2nd gen crossplane if I had one.

My 2018 R1

My R1 with stock cat and no muffler. Same performance as original, little louder but not exruciatingly loud and looks a lot cleaner with chrome tip. Enough power and soundlevel for an old man like me😄

I've been looking for this exhaust for my 18 and can't find it anywhere.
