Unhappy

The lights underneath my speedo no longer work. Im pretty sure its not a fuse because the lights under the tach still operate. Does that unit come apart easily, and if so where can I get a replacement bulb w/o being raped i.e. not a dealership.

you should be able to replace them with no problems.... try removing the unit and looking on the backside, i am not familiar 100% with how the unit opens

take off the windscreen, unplug the main plug and remove 3 screws.

take off the cluster, open it(4 screws i think)and replace the defective bulb.
it happend to me a lot in 99,not a freakin time after that.

make syre to bring the burned bulbs with you to the dealer as some have a tendency to give you the wrong one.
