Wifi help?

so just got a new router in the house and now i cannot connect my ps3 from my room...and with GTA V now here that causes some trouble....anyways i was wondering if there was anything i could do to boost the signal or make it stronger without having to run a line under the house. theres only 1 wall between the ps3 and the router. ive already set up a "static IP"address and it didnt do sheeet. ive heard of tin foil tricks...but hey, you guys seem wiser. thanks

I'd run a wire myself. I did. It's better than over air.

I had to run mine from three rooms over , in the attic. Under the house is nothing

Whoody whoody woo!

but depending on the bandwidth use from the ps3, might degrade performance on wifi'd devices.

Not sure what router you're using, but you shouldn't really be having reception issues if it's on the other side of a room wall. There are wifi signal repeaters/boosters available as well.

Hi and yes others could still run wifi but one wall shouldn't worry it distance kills signal, unless its lead lined /panic room or a lot of electrical interference Craig
