Completely untrue. "Far from the best bike on the grid".

So how did Dani, Jack and Cal (you know, the other riders you mention who say it's too difficult to ride) all win on it, if it requires Marquez's amazing talent to get results?

Like any bike, it has strengths and weaknesses... but the top bike has either been the M1 or the RCV for the past decade, only last year did the Ducati even come into the running for best bike on the grid. Anyone who has a riding style that suits more strong points of a bike than weak points will be successful on said bike, assuming it has more strengths than weaknesses.

Don't trip up the logic hopscotching girls with their own set of selectively applied facts and bewildering conclusions.

heh, though crowd around here

really appreciate everyone's point of view and honestly feel i learn alot from these discussions -thanks for keeping the discussion going

still think Davi showed some serious brains when he knew 93 was gonna make his desperation move and just waited for it to happen and then just powered right on by for the win

that damn Duc has got some afterburners for sure, and i think Davi is a championship contender on it, unfortunately, when Jorge figures it out, so is he
its easy on rubber too

its got this Yami fan pretty worried for sure

then again its Qatar, and its a unique track (but a yamaha track) right?

It *was* a Yamaha track, whatever advantage the M1 used to have is mostly (or completely) negated by the Ducati's domination on the start/finish straight, IMO.

The last lap of the race showed that all Dovi had to do is let Marquez make the super predictable move (Dovi claimed in the post race press conference that he didn't expect it, but if you don't expect MM93 to make a lunge up the inside on the final corner, you're only fooling yourself), then pin it on the exit of turn 16 and he'll likely win the sprint to the line.

For arguments sake, I'd LOVE to see MotoGP be a "spec bike" class, where every rider was on the same equipment. THEN I'd love to see how much "Better" MM is than VR or any of them. If any. Taking the "Better bike" argument out of the deal.

Strictly for arguments sake though.

Of course then weight becomes a worse factor for VR and Pet. and other bigger riders. So maybe a total weight has to be met.

This would be fun to see. Taking all speed and better bike arguments away.

A minimum combined weight is used in all classes but GP, I really think they should adopt similar in the top class.
