Rossi is at least being very blunt and honest in all his recent interviews about everything, including his speed, or lack there of.
Making mistakes is all about character. Rossi was over in the kitty litter immediately tending to Nakagami. He apologized, checked on him, then apologized in the press, calling himself out. Itís all how you handle your own mistakes. Vale has always been this way. If he isnít cutting it, heíll tell you so. If there is a problem with the bike, heíll tell you. He screwed the pooch royally today and is damn lucky he nor Nakagami got seriously injured. He needs the summer break and needs to reset. If he doesnít, there wonít be another contract because Fabio will be getting his ride.

The equivalent would have been Rossi, on lap 2 or 3, scuttling out Marquez, and both factory Ducatis and robbing the viewers of a mafk of a race. Barcelona was setting up to be an epic battle then bam. Nothing. Jorge might as well knit Marc a championship ribbon now while heís laid up.

Did you read Marcís comments over the weekend concerning Lorenzo? Wow, Marc truly is a prick. You donít go beating on a man when he is down. Marc was really running his mouth over the weekend, big time. Not just about Lorenzo either.

The season was over several rounds ago. Barring Marc going down and getting hurt missing multiple rounds, the other riders and factories should be putting their effort into 2020. Now is the time to let your riders test your early 2020 prototypes.

Mysteryman Another fantastic race!

iamzombie I've seen no view of the crash other than Rossi's onboard and the view from further up the track after turn 8, neither make clear what happened, IMO.

Good to see the other 2 Yamahas at the front and Franky M. showing decent pace at the end.

BigSwole At least someone other than the punk won one.

FQ and MV looked good. FQ is going to be a serious threat in the future. I like it.

bsgesch At least Jorge's low-side only took out himself this time.

Hope he's okay...

Maybe he'll retire before Vale...

drjak Assen coming. May be the best chance for a Yamaha win all year. And a good chance for Rins.

tory ii And Dovisioso rarely causes a crash. The irony is, it was even possible for Lorenzo to beat MM. But MM had that typical MM one second lead when he wins.

Yep they lost points; I didn't think of that.

It was still a fun race to watch, but was really interesting to see Lorenzo near the front.

They likely all would have scored points, and if Nicky Hayden ever proved anything, it was that sometimes you can win a championship without winning many races.

It's unlikely anyone is going to beat Marquez this season, but with stuff like this happening to his main competition (Dovi) it's no surprise why. Marquez not finishing in Austin was his own fault, this time Dovi was a victim of someone else's mistake.

BigSwole Nothing to contribute for the longest time, until he can gloat about Rossi having bad luck.

Yep, Troll.
