Veshengo Thanks Ramocs, yeah that pic confirms what I already thought…
I want the mount points of the DB holders but the Stays of the Motoholders…
And for some reason no one makes an all in one option like that…

ramocs Here's my motoholders. Maybe it helps you get an idea of what you want.

Veshengo Thanks for the Reply Arsenalist, the one you have there still bolts onto the Air duct, and that is what caused it to be cracked in the fall.
The One I posted bolts onto the frame but doesn’t have the Mirror bolt on points… I want a combination of both.
And the idea of buying both and getting someone to weld em together doesn’t inspire me.

Arsenalist The Motoholders fairing stay has the stock mounting location. It does omit two of the four bolts in the front mount, and uses a bolts on the top where the windscreen hooks into the stock subframe, but it’s sturdy enough.
They also make a CF version that’s a little pricier.

In search of Metal Fairing stays.

So I had my 2015 R1 fall off its side stand, the mirrors were extended so it fell onto the mirror as its first impact, this cause the mirror to take some damage ($170) as well as damaging the Fairing stay $180 and the Air Intake $480 because all of it is plastic.
If the fairing stay had been metal and bolted straight to the frame like all other bikes, then I would have been up for a mirror and that is all.
DB Holders make a stay that meets that description… Hooray.
That doesn’t have mirror mount points… Boo

So here is my question, are there any metal Fairing Stays that bolt to the frame, fit with a stock air intake that have mirror mount points out there?
