2009 Yamaha R1 (Blue/White)
Either BSTs or Marchesini forged painted blue to match the livery. BSTs for when I go on track.
Head gasflowed, WSBK cams, mild valve retiming settings. Full Yamaha works Akra Ti exhaust 60mm bore system. Suter slipper clutch. APE manual CCT. GB Racing engine casing covers. Probolt Ti lockwire drilled bolts. 520 pitch chain conversion, standard gearing retained. 190 rwbhp. Just had YEC adjustable bellmouths and MWR air filter fitted so will need redynoing soon due to also swapping out Bazzaz fueling unit for ECU reflash ... and NGK RO465B-10 SURFACE DISCHARGE spark plugs.
France World Endurance colour scheme. Japanese Twill and Akrapovic carbon fibre frame protectors.
Front end: Ohlins R&T forks/Brembo HPK callipers with Z04 pads and Castrol SRF brake fluid clamping on Brembo fully floating 320mm discs. Ohlins steering damper and TTX on rear. FTR SWINGARM 2009-14 Big Bang Race Ohlins Track Harris Suter Swing Arm with full factory rear suspension linkage set up to give much more linear progressive movement, fitted with 64mm Brembo underslung race calliper. Brembo thumb brake fitted, foot pedal removed completely.
Wheel and Tire
Currently fitted with Bazzaz fueling, TC and QS unit, all being swapped out for a GRIPone S3 TC and QS setup, having ECU reflashed with FTecu FlashTune kit for redynoing once all installed. Map to follow once done. Also fitted Garmin Satnav system as I always get lost and do ride the bike all over the two countries I live in.
