My 2002 r1 is not starting. I replaced my battery, stator and oil filter. I also drained the oil and gas and replaced it. The bike just cranks but doesn't start. I checked spark plugs but they look good. I don’t know what else it could be?

Bike has been sitting for almost a year. Installed new Clutch plates, new battery, oil change then went to start it up. Turns over then makes the I’m flooded sound and smells flooded also. Should I just let it rest and try again in the morning?
