heres a little background. im putting an r1 motor into a dirtbike frame for hillclimbing. i wanna do all the motor mods while its in the street frame so it can easily be dynoed and tuned, then the swap. now that your up to speed, so far i have bought the k/n filers (individual) and taken off the muffler (and the exup) and ive ordered the plugs for the smog block offs.started in on the wiring. i want to get rid of all the un-necisary wires and relays. pretty much only need to keep the pump,starter and ECM. im not looking for max power im looking for smooth managable power.
with the things mentioned do you think a mechanic with a dyno can get it to run right?

without the airbox and EXUP it will be nearly impossible to tune that engine.

so mabe i should just try and put it back on there and return the K&N if i can. its going to suck trying to get that thing to fit in that little frame, like a pregnant 12 year old.....grrrr
