i might be getting an '03 R6 and I've been looking around at aftermarket exhausts. while i was doing that I came upon the ceramic Taylor Made exhaust (www.racetaylormade.com) for the '02-'03 R1. I love this exhaust and i'm just wondering if anyone out there knows if you could make it fit the R6 with a new tail section. thanks guys.

Frankly,I dont know...

I"d try getting a cheap or even broken 02-03 tail and see if it would fit myself,then go from there.

yeah, i figured the same thing myself. i'll try it as soon as i get the bike. just wondering if anyone knew if the pipes would match up. are they they same at all coming out of the block???

When theres a will theres a way, just a matter of how much work youre wanting to put in, it would be a rare bike if you suceeded, good luck!

hmmm

yeah, looks like exactly the same kit. by looking at the installation instructions it gives you a little better idea of what parts would need to be the same. can anyone tell if the R6 and the R1 would match up from what they show. it's a whole new undertray. thanks for the help guys. i know i'm just gonna end up trying it myself.
