stopped in today to pick up my plates and one of the sales guys was telling me that one of the other 04 R1 owners broke the airbox cover possibly by over tightening it...bummer. just though I'd give a heads up on that being easy to break...

if youo look right where the fastener, it split to both sides. There is a flat part of the cover where the bolt goes and a rubber washer under the bolt...guess farm boy torque settings are wrong for plastic bits......
