I made up this license plate bracket today, thought I would share.

Used 1/2" stainless steel tubing, some 1/2" S/S rubber clamps, and 1/2" tube plugs. The clamps allow for plate angle changes depending on preference. I bent the tubing to follow the angle of the rear tail light assy. I have a Custom LED tail light assy on order so I did not have to add turn signals.

I just love to see some of the ingenuity people come up with on here! Not everyone may agree, but that's what makes it so cool to see the diversity in thinking on achieving the same goal! What are you going to do about a tag light? Here's a suggestion if you want. I went to Autozone and they have these LED's in a little alum. bullet that are stuck on with body tape. I just stuck them on the tag reflectors and aim them at the opposite lower corner. Illuminates the whole tag! Only 6 bucks I believe! Make sure you get the white ones though! Here's a pic. Like I said I ended up pointing them to the opposite lower corners for better illumination unlike this pic! Just an idea for you!

That looks awsome GRH. :rock
Who hard was it to make and install??
looks great! How did ya go about bending the tubing?
So how do those LED's actually work, as far as wiring, turning them on, etc.?
ghr looks cool what does it look like from the back with the plate on?
Plates

Those LED's are cool guys but we don't want the cops to see the plate ... How about putting a magnifying glass in front of it so you can get your ticket in the mail.... Just kidding.. Great ingenuity.
My pic of the rear with the plate on came out too dark, I will try to get another and post.
I bent the tubing with a 1/2" tubing bender, my brother works for a plumbing contractor so I borrowed the benders.

I am not planning on adding a plate light, I never had them on my last bike and I never had any problem. I don't ride in the dark too often anyway due to the large deer population around here.
The S/S rubber coated clamps and the 1/2" tube plugs were bought from McMaster-Carr for qty-50 each the total was like $20.

Using the clamps to mount the plate allows for easy angle changes on the plate, No need to bend the metal like on the Graves units.

You wire them into the old tag light wires!
I removed your license plate number from that one picture. Hope you don't mind :)
