End caps are titanium coated in teflon. Don't know how the teflon will hold up, will let you know. Probably a few years from now though....:thumbup

Those are really nice. I saw the GYT-R setup today and it was pretty nice too. So far the GYT-R and Two Brothers racing are the only kit availible with a sculpted outlet. I'd prolly want the GYT-R to stick with the theme but those Two Brothers are only a wait-a-minute decision away.

Is it me or does it look like those Two Bros badges on the side dont fit very well? It kinda looks as if they arent flush up against the pipe at the top. Texas boy, can you let me know if the badges are or are not flush against the pipe where I have drawn the arrow?

I see where you are pointing and yes there is a "slight" gap, but considering the Two Brother logo is made of metal, it is about as flush as you can get. I will assure you, at least on the pipes I have, that this is not an issue with quality or would anyone ever notice it, accept when the pipe is laying on the living room table. I am very happy with the materials and workmanship of the pipes. In the picture, the logo still has the protective plastic coating. Once this is removed the logo will be much brighter.

Now if my dam bike would just arrive, I will let you know how they install and SOUND. Bike should be here this week (fingers crossed).

Awesome, thanks for the info.. I cant wait to hear the sound, I think this is def the pipe I am going to order. Hope your bike gets here soon. I could have been riding today in Boston, it was 60 degrees. i wish my bike would just get here. I am sure you feel the same way! Thanks again!

The badge for the two bros system is simply a metal sticker badge...you can easily peel it off, adn purchase a new one for your bike.

Texas Boy, can you please post a pic of the other end of the can? The end that connects to the connector pipe?

I've yet to see where the hell the cat is between can and exup valve so I don't know if your connector pipes replace where the cat is??

The 2 Bros badge is def riveted on the can. Can't just peel it off by any means. you could drill out the rivets and take the badge off but then you have to random holes in your can

You could just pop two aluminum rivets back in there. I'm not sure which way would look better at that point.

Badge is held on with two rivits. You would have to drill them out and replace them to fill the holes. I ordered mine from Two Brothers without the badges or the holes for the badges. Anyone who dosn't want badges, specify on your order! That way you won't have the holes in the side of the cans.
And yes, the end cap is teflon covered magnesium. In the one email they sent me they had said it was titanium. Sorry. They also said in the same email that the "S" pipes were made of titanium. But I keep looking at them and they look like stainless steel to me? Oh well, cheers...:thumbup

Here are two pictures of the other end of the slip on, the part that connects to the header system. I believe it is made of stainless steel and chromed - not titanium. This piece connects to the slip on via 4 bolts and then a "t" type muffler clamp connect the whole slip on system to the header pipe. You can go out to Two Brothers web site and download the exact same set of instructions that came with the exhaust system. As I mentioned earlier, the quality of the system appears to be very high.

The black piece that says Two Brotherss is not plastic but made of some type of treated metal. Don't know what it is but looks very durable.
