So here’s how the story goes:

I was experiencing what I suspected to be cam chain noise at around 6k rpm. So, I did an adjustment on the manual CCT with the intention of making it a little tighter. In doing so, it seemed like I fixed it! No more noises coming from the engine and was riding great. The first time out on a pretty hard road ride, the bike began to develop a tick noise and I noticed it was kind of running hard. Another mile and the tick was really bad, low on power. From there I parked it.

Since all of this happened, I haven’t ridden it again, however, I have started the bike a couple of times to try and troubleshoot. Here is what I have observed:

-The tick is not there during idle, only as soon as throttle is applied.
-The idle engine noise sounds normal, so it doesn’t sound like I jumped timing (otherwise I wouldn’t have started it again
-Making adjustments to the CCT does not seem to change or make the tick noise go away
-The tick noise is accompanied by a high-pitched whine

Link for a video!

Thanks

Maybe back off the CCTV a little. Is the chain to tight. Mine whine when its to tight. Also use high octane gas. Other that that I don't know.
