Friday, February 13, 2015
Leave Long Beach around 8:30 - 9:00 am.
South to San Juan Capistrano (405 - 5)
East on Ortega Hwy (Hwy 74)
Lake Elsinore - Temecula (Hwys 79 - 371)
Pines to Palms (Hwy 74)
Into Palm Springs for lunch.
Then checking into the Hard Rock Hotel. :drum:
Chillin' by the pool, then cocktails and dinner. :drink:

Breakfast, jacuzzi, shower
Back the way we came. :scoots:

Everything went well, no tickets, no accidents. 180 miles on friday, 180 back on saturday. Left brother-in-law (passed in 2010) his shot of Patron Anejo, celebrated his life, birthday and my brother's birthday. Missed the usual suspects, maybe next year. Cheers brothers!

Pointed out to my brother that it clearly says, "No Littering" and he parked his Honda there anyway...

Glad you guys had a safe and yet another memorable ride Brent! I really need to get out there and do this ride/celebration with you guys. Hopefully next year.

Great pictures! Saturday must have been a bit warm out there!

Mid-80s during the day, low 60s at night. We really got lucky with the weather this year. I like the Hard Rock pool, 3-1/2 feet at its deepest, little chance of drowning - even after the vodka martinis. Props to my brother, had a tequila hangover from our last stop the night before, still finished strong riding home. :thumbup

Looks like a great time Brent! Glad you could keep the tradition going. I would love to join you guys some day, but 1400 miles is a long ride.
