gomototrip R1M Carbon Fiber preservation kit installed

https://www.gomototrip.com/product/2015-2016-yamaha-yzf-r1-diy-motogp-fairing/

o Excellent OEM fitment (a very important criteria)
o Great ordering process/support
o Flawless Shipment/Delivery execution (packaging done to ensure no damage in transit)

Went with this fairing kit to preserve carbon fiber pieces
Would recommend as good alternative if looking for a track-day fairing kit to help
avoid high costs of carbon fiber in the event of a get off.

Have not installed tank shroud, waiting for badging.
Likely will not install the rear section.

Did you have any concerns or warnings?.
Always seems like some risk when ordering from China, but both the product and the ordering/shipping logistics were fine.

Couple not quite OEM fitment issues like the radiator panel to side panel is not OEM, but the fitment is on par with OEM quality.

All original fittings were use, except 1 zues fitting on each side panel because of the way the radiator panel fits.

The piece that fits in front of lower radiator, see attached.

Cool - how long did it take? Wondering if they are all custom as I would like to get Graves stickers added. They say on the site they can do that but if it adds hassle I could just add them myself once they arrive.

Thanks for posting this as I have been procrastinating but would hate to have a drop before getting them!

Order submission shows Sep. 5th, arrived Sep. 23rd.
Would ask for build & delivery estimates if you are concerned.

"customizations" were
A) Please remove the “RevsYourHeart” decal from wind fairing
B) Please remove the "Akrapovic" decals from side fairings as well
If you look close at the web-site versus what installed you will see those differences.
Wilson who managed my order was responsive to any customization requests.

Yeah, did not think of referencing the OEM parts list, great idea, would also suggest: #65, #61, #49

Then #15 was re-used as does not come off tank as part of new tank cover.

Where #52 goes in is where a little dremel work was necessary to get a reasonable fit. Needed to elongate the screw hole/slot.
May not be necessary on every piece part given various tolerances.

That looks awesome.
That Belly pan doesn't look like the one in the kit. What belly pan is that?

I know I'm reviving an OOOOLD thread, just getting started on a budget plan for next season with a new to me R1M.
