There has not been an informative thread on this subject in some time (I checked) so let me hear the opinions of those with them. Those that have never had them.......stay out.

Any good info or prices of anything currently available is also welcome.

I use a frank thomas 2 pc from cycle gear. It got comfortable after about three rides. I like being able to remove the top easily when at a rest stopI paid like 450 total.

I'm assuming you mean leather for both 1&2 piece. I've had both and the 2 piece is way easier to live with. The 1 piece is a real pain to get out of once you add some heat & sweat in there. The 2 piece you just take your jacket off (no extra person or squirming necessary). On days I dont ride hard I like to ride w/Joe Rocket reinforced denims & you have the jacket to wear from your suit. On the track day you can zip 'em together & you're good to go. Just my 2 cents. Ride Safe.

I am definitley a fan of 2 piece leathers. I like the versatility and comfort. They are more comfortable, have better stretching capabilities. They can be worn jacket alone. Or just the pants when walking around the track.

They are much more crash worthy than many give them credit for. The zipper that holds them togehter works great. I had a get off in the area of 100mph and they stayed together perfect even while sliding feet first.

My next suit will be another 2 pc... especially since i had so much trouble, with no luck trying to get a one piece. Oh by the way, I currently have an old Joe Rocket Highside 2pc.

a 2pc is great if your going to use in to ride on the street since you'll be able to stop and take the jacket off and walk around / sit at a resturant comfortably. I have a 1pc and used it on the trade and on the street and sometimes wish I would have gotten a 2pc so I could take the jacket off while stopped on the street. Either way you'll be protected and that's the key.
