is this simple? it looks like the front cowl and the headlights are all i need to bolt them up to my 98. can anyone else chime in? if this is possible to do then i'd rather convert using old 00 parts than buy new 98 parts. i can get the fairing stay, front cowl, headlight used for the price of just a new headlight.

You'll need a new windshield for sure. Don't know if the fairing stay is the same though. I have an old '01 fairing stay I'd give you a great deal on if you end up needing it. PM me.
