I am curious, would a 2001 tail farring fit on a 2002??

That'd be interesting.....personally I like everything on the 2002 model except the tail unit....An alternate tail unit would be cool...

Wonder if Sharkskinz are going to develop their R6 tail unit thing for the new R1....that'd be awesome!

On a similar note, anyone know if 2000 Ohlins R+T forks fit on the new 02 model?? - Can't see any reason why

The '02 uses a larger diameter fork than the earlier models.

Yeah, but it's only the fork stanchions that are thicker I think....the fork stanchions on the Ohlins units are already thicker than the standard 00-01 forks.

Anyone done it ??

on the same subject, does anyone know if its possible to fit a 2002 tail unit and undertray onto a 2001 R1, i have been searching for a while to try and find the answer to this... Hope you guys might be able to help
