looking for purchase a 2001 r1, i looked through everything but can't seem to find if the 2001 version is fuel injected or not.

no FI on the 2001. Alest I don't think so.

No sir 2002 is the first injected R1. Yamahas carburation has always been top notch,so you don't need to worry bout that
