2003 r1 tires breaking loose at 100 mph

I’m new to the r1000 but not new to riding all my life had some big bikes .Ok just put on new tire race compound my question is it normal to break traction at 100 mph pretty easily I didn’t have tire very warm but just didn’t feel right to spin so easy somebody give some insight on this
