What is the going price for a left over 2003 Yamaha R1? If they Retailed for $10,299 is $9,299 a fair price, or are people doing better than that?

Last year I shopped around to 5 dealers and no one would move on the price. Now this year my buddy it looking to pick up a new bike and I was thinking he could get a sweet deal on a left over Silver R1 at our local dealship. So I guessing that he shouldn't pay any higher than $8999.

03 Price

I paid $8499 about a month ago in NNJ. There was the assembly cost of $290 on top of that, so $8789 total.

I seen an 03 just this past weekend for I THINK 7700 or so, maybe 7800 I cant remember. BUT that link on discount yamaha's above...04s for $1200 of retail? DAYUM! Get th at at that price.
